The Location: Markham, Ontario, Canada

Air Quality Issue: A new mother was very concerned about the quality of air her newborn infant was breathing in their brand new home. She was looking for a filter system that could provide her family with the highest quality air possible and deal with particles, biological, and chemical pollutants. She consulted an HVAC contractor and was recommended an Amaircare Airwash Whisper 350 (350 cfm).

The Installation: The installation was installed as a bypass on a high efficiency gas furnace. The HEPA filter fit neatly behind the furnace and the contractor took great care sealing all of the pipe connections as well as using insulated pipe. Install time was less than 1 hour.

Results: Particle counts were taken prior to the installation using a Met-One laser 0.3 micron particle counter. Outside Air Particulate: 7,100,000 Inside Air Particulate: 250,000 - 300,000 Particles inside the home are over 95% cleaner than the outside air.
